THE HENKELL FAMILY FUND supports young Australian opera talent by way of supporting the annual MTO German Australian Opera Grant.
The Grantee receives the opportunity to be a member of the professional ensemble at the Hessisches Staatstheater in Wiesbaden. This is the gateway to an international career for a talented young Australian opera singer and a very rare opportunity.
Through regular events the perception and reputation of the traditional art form of opera is increased and German-Australian ties in the community are strengthened.
